Student survey

Students eating veggieburgersA survey of staff and students at the London School of Economics (LSE) University has revealed that 66% of them would consider going “meat-free” for one day a week.

30% of the respondents suggested that they would be more likely to “visit an LSE catering outlet if there was a meat-free day once a week”.

Representatives from the LSE student union Vegetarian Society presented the results of the survey to their Catering Services department in order to encourage them to introduce a meat-free Monday policy in all University cafes.
