This summer I was on holiday on the Greek island Karpathos (situated between Crete and Rhodes).
The wave of tourists hasn't found the way to this paradise yet.I love the Greek cuisine, and this summer I only fell more in love with it! Greek salad (onion, olives, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, green pepper) is a true winner for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Most restaurants are willing to do anything to satisfy their customers, which I experienced. If I couldn't find a tempting dish on the menu, the waiters asked me what I wanted. If I wasn't sure, then they would come up with many vegetarian dishes for me. They even asked me (multiple times) if I wanted to come into the kitchen to see and choose my meal. That's what I call service!

Vegetarian food is not very difficult to find. Karpathos flows over with fresh fruit and vegetables; it's truly a paradise for vegetarians!
Restaurants in Pigadia, Karpathos I can recommend: Sea Side Snack Bar (on the beach, perfect place for lunch!); Taverna Mesogios, Anemoussa, UNO pizzeria, Maxim, and Sofia's Place (all on the boardwalk where most of the restaurants are)
I would recommend everybody to ask the employees/waiters about vegetarian dishes. They are very kind, helpful and willing to do anything for the customers!
I am absolutely going back to this little, Greek island because I am in love with the atmosphere, food, people and nature in
Karpathos!
