Wizzy gets busy!
The first member of the Vegetarian Society’s new club for young veggies is a baby beaver! Wizzy is the first ever beaver to be hand reared in the UK and was named after Pat Wisniewski, the man who introduced beavers to the Waterfowl and Wetland Trust’s centre at Martin Mere in 2007.
Wizzy’s parents, Twiggy and Woody were stars of the BBC’s Autumnwatch programme and are also members of the Vegetarian Society. For more information on the beavers at Martin Mere then click here.
