Alex Mills (youth contact, aged 17))

My New Year’s Resolution for 2008 is to stop getting so stressed about life and relax more. I also want to continue with the diary I ’ve been keeping since January 2004.

Jamie (youth education officer)

From 2008 I’m only going to eat doughnuts once a month! (And keep a tub of toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds on my desk to fight off any hunger pangs …)

Lanikai (age 13)

I will try not to... eat rubbish at break times!

Michiko (Youth Education Support Officer)

In 2008 I’m aiming to be more ‘Zen’! I’d like to be more minimal and simplify things as my life has been quite chaotic this year.

What’ll be my new motto? Chill out, relax, take things in your stride and don’t forget your sense of humour.

Rachel (age 12):

My new years resolution is to try out being vegan for at least a month, as I have heard that the vegan diet is good for people with asthma and eczema, and as I have both this change in diet would be very good for me. It would also be good for animals and the environment.
